Online – Finally

This site is finally up and running after a couple of years of trying to get it right.  I’m not saying that it is finished or even ready for publication, but it is finally online.

Many of my friends have begged me to organize and publish my comments.  Let’s face it – I’m a “news fanatic” and I keep up with just about everything going on.  The difference between me and other news hounds is that I can usually “smell a rat” when the reporting just doesn’t seem to fit the facts.

So we’ll see where this takes us.  There won’t be any particular theme or primary subject.  Anything and everything is fair game and subject to my review.

Remember, however, that it is “just one opinion” and also subject to discussion.  But it is my opinion and I reserve the right to express it.  Feel free to comment as you see fit…

Dick–Yours is a glowing, accurate tribute of our mutual buddy. I couldn’t help thinking of him on Election night–couldn’t help thinking of how he would have delighted in having Bush removed from his life forever, and how, like many of us, he would have recalled the joy of 1960 as Kennedy brought similar transcendence to election evening. Your memories of dining with him and Bob are metaphors as well as true experiences–photos of friends, wine, piles of food, laughs, too much of everything, maybe, but palatable to spirit and heart as much as appetite. Think of Communion–and a friend who was so often our con genial host. Peace be with him.
