This very handsome officer stood about six feet tall with pale blue eyes poked his head in the car window. “Lady, do you know you are driving down a one way street going the wrong way? May I please see your driver’s license?”

It was very exhausting watching the elections for so many months. I’m glad it’s finally over and even happier with the results. Barack Obama will not be our president until January, but I am already excited for America.

In our lifetime we will meet and get to know many interesting and fascinating people. Occasionally we are introduced to a person who ratchets the bar up a notch. And so it was with Darrell Gene Miller, a human dynamo who cultivated friendships like a gardener nurtures his prized plants and flowers. Darrell was a most remarkable man.
