I grew up in a small ranching town in western South Dakota. My consciousness has been impacted by what I was when. It is postulated that most of your life values are formed when you are around nine years old. I was nine years old in the 1950s, and it was a simple and positive [...]

In our lifetime we will meet and get to know many interesting and fascinating people. Occasionally we are introduced to a person who ratchets the bar up a notch. This coming Tuesday - my Mom’s birthday - will see the election of a new President and the beginnings of a changed American society. I’m sorry that she is not here to see it all happen along with the rest of us. The changes that lie ahead of us will be historic, significant, and life-changing for all of us. Even though she would not be voting, I think that Mom would be very pleased to see an African-American man finally get the chance to be our President and become the most powerful man in the world.

Both of them have promised that we will be healthier, wealthier and happier if they are the President. The final winner may fulfill some, none, or all of his promises - we won’t know for sure until we are well into the next term. The real bottom line is how their policies will affect you and your family.

Obama’s Socialist agenda and communistic approach to penalizing my small family and my small business to give to another doesn’t represent me. I feel the group of young workers have been so indoctrinated with Karl Marx but haven’t been educated (because they are not old enough) on what a great system that was for Russia and China.
